RINA’s role in the project

RINA is the project coordinator, coordinating the whole consortium and project.

In addition, RINA has a key role in several tasks:

  • The business model for the project, paving the way for market uptake for the REFRESH solutions.
  • Conducting sustainability assessments (LCA, LCC and S-LCA) of the REFRESH recycling processes and end-products.
  • Developing the exploitation strategy for the project’s results

REFRESH Closing Event

The REFRESH sustainability analyses will be presented during the project’s Closing Event on 2 December 2026 (Brussels + online).

During the event, Shaping the future of blade circularity – insights and impact from the REFRESH project, the project partners will present their achievements and discuss the exploitation potential of the technologies developed.

Presentations will cover:

  • Blade preparation for repurposing & recycling;
  • Blade recycling technologies;
  • New products from recycled materials;
  • Traceability & sustainability.
